Meet The Team

My names Lorraine and i opened up all about you in October 2020, Yes that's right during lockdown, But i had been in the industry many years and had built up a good client base so i thought now is the time to do it if I'm going to.

A little about me. I am mum to two grown up daughters. Lorna who works alongside me at the salon and my daughter Sydney who now lives and works in London. I have 3 wonderful grandchildren. Twin boys and a granddaughter.

I am originally from the the south east of England, Kent to be exact and in 1999 i married my now ex husband and moved to Germany as he was in the armed forces. Roll forward to 2003 my marriage broke down, i had two small children and packed up what i could and headed to Cornwall which is where my parents had moved to a couple of years prior to me. 21 years later and I'm still here. 

Cornwall is where i started my training in all things massage and beauty. I had two small children to care for so it wasn't easy but i did it. it still isn't easy being a 1 income household but hard work and determination is the way forward. If its one thing you will get out of my courses its all the business knowledge i have taught ,myself over the years, especially the last 4...even down to creating this website.

I've worked in many salons and spas, I've worked mobile and now in my beautiful little salon

I am level 4 trained in Beauty and i am trained in Elemis, Dermalogica and Cliniccare. I hold my AET in Education which was another thing i decided to do during lockdown.

I always wanted to teach but building the salon has taken a lot of my time, until now. I am able to dedicate 2 days to training and the rest in the salon with my clients. Lorna will also be doing her AET in Education this year and she will be teaching alongside me in the not so distant future.
